Texting in Aburi

Jeanie in Ghana: I lived and taught in Ghana as a US Peace Corps volunteer in the 1980s and have continued to travel there, most recently in 2007 and in early 2012. I am close to my family, the Oforis, in Aburi, the village where I lived and taught. I am also a member of the board of a small NGO, WomensTrust, that helps empower women and girls in Pokuase, Ghana, through microfinance and education.
